This morning USA Today posted the first batch of official stills from Dimension Films' The Road, which starts its theater run on November 14th. Directed by John Hillcoat, the pics don't show much, but they do give us an idea of how good the movie looks. The story centers on a man who embarks on a nightmarish road trip after a nuclear explosion in an attempt to transport his son to safety while fending off cannibals. Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron and Guy Pearce all star, read on for the images. The adaptation was written by Joe Penhall and Cormac McCarthy, with the film opening in more theaters throughout the new year.
